Role Title: Accounting Intern

Role Description

As an Accounting Intern, you will provide support in carrying out the day-to-day finance activities at our organisation. This will give you an overview of accounting and compliance of a not-for-profit registered charity, our accounting software Xero, accounting for grants and payroll under a modern award. Additionally, you will help with specific projects including verification of fixed assets, updating supplier details and reporting improvements. You will be mentored by our Accountant and Finance Officer to gain in-depth knowledge of the complete finance function.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with good attention to detail and Excel skills.
