Role Title: Grants & Philanthropy Research Intern

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Role Description

Working with the CEO and Communications & Stakeholder Manager, you will grow philanthropic funding to help Transplant Australia deliver on its programs and strategic objectives to support all those on the transplant journey to have the best chance of a healthy life while encouraging all Australians to embrace organ and tissue donation.
You will focus on identifying opportunities for philanthropic and corporate grants to support our programs in: - organ and tissue donation advocacy and awareness - sports participation and physical activity initiatives for transplant recipients - support and education resources to assist Australians impacted by donation and transplantation. . You will: - apply theory of change, logic models and evaluation tools to prepare summaries of the opportunities and programs for external funding. - research philanthropic grant databases to identify and prioritise a prospect list and timeline - prepare resources, proposals and content for approaches and applications. - make strategic and operational improvements and recommendations to support future funding.
