Role Description

This fantastic role provides an exceptional opportunity to gain first-hand experience in fundraising and grant writing.
Nakuru Hope was established by Susan Saleeba OAM in 2008 to help support children in need and alleviate poverty in Kenya. It is a thriving organisation, run from Australia and Kenya, and now supports over 300 children. It has created an orphanage, a school and farm in Kenya and has an Op Shop in Perth. It provides educational support for children through pre-primary and primary school. The intern will have the unique opportunity to work with and have access to the founder of the charity which will enable a fantastic learning and information sharing opportunity. The intern will also have the ability to identify suitable grants that the charity should apply for and develop a short-medium-long term fundraising plan.
