Research and Community Grant Application Support Intern

Role Title: Research and Community Grant Application Support Intern

Organisation: Alzheimer's Research Australia

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

Location: Nedlands

Role Description

In this intern role with ARA the primary objective is to research and develop a comprehensive list of grants that are available for the organisation to apply for that will support our vision of “making Alzheimer’s a distant memory”. The process begins with an initial assessment to ARA’s needs and current grant opportunities and processes utilised. This will be followed by setting up a ‘boiler plate’ of information required in ARA grant applications. The next phase is to develop a grants register and template for gathering and analysing metrics related to success rates of applications. The intern will then work with the wider team to identify priority areas and establish eligibility criteria. A detailed action plan will be created, outlining steps, timelines, and responsibilities, along with the development of a transparent application and review process.
