Role Title: Community Engagement Intern - LGBTIQA+SB Family and Domestic Violence Campaign Intern

Organisation: Living Proud LGBTI Community Services WA

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Location: City West Lotteries House, 2 Delhi St West Perth

Role Description

It is my great pleasure to announce that Living Proud, in partnership with WAAC, GRAI and Transfolk WA has been funded $350,000 for a family and domestic violence community awareness campaign. This originated from a tender that we submitted together earlier this year. While we were unsuccessful in the application, government recognised the strengths in the initiative and wanted to support the development of the proposal.
Living Proud are leading the campaign and will work with community and our partners to raise awareness, understanding and strength to tackle Family and intimate partner violence in its many forms in our community. We are excited to undertake the project with WAAC, GRAI and Transfolk and hope that in working together on it we will deliver and stronger and more informed campaign that will benefit our community.
