Role Title: Social Enterprise Member Engagement Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Fremantle
We have a position for a Community Engagement Intern to support our social enterprise members through creating social media content and helping us maintain our membership database.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is interested in community services and purposeful businesses, and would like to work with our small and dynamic peak organisation that supports social enterprises.
You might have an interest in a particular social area and passionate about working in social organisations. You also might have an interest in running businesses, start up organisations and how to pitch and gather funding for business ideas.
You could be studying any range of degrees - and want to learn more about how the social enterprise ecosystem works in WA.
Don't worry if you don't know much about social enterprises! (Neither did we!) We will train you in the internship, and provide a fun open space for you to gain some great skills.
About the Role:
We would love help with communications and marketing - to create meaningful online content that get's the word out there about WA's amazing social enterprises. An interest in or skills in Canva, photography, filming, social media posts would be fantastic!
We would also like help with maintaining our membership data base, or other online research tasks. This might interest you if you like 'sorting things out', research, collecting data and data management.
We are happy to adapt the internship projects for what skills and interests you have.
