Role Title: Volunteer Recruitment Intern
Organisation: Lotus Support & Counselling Services
Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Mandurah
Lotus is fully staffed by volunteers, including the CEO position. The goal is to engage a person to job share the CEO role.
The intern will be responsible for learning about the work of Lotus, in addition to all tasks undertaken by the CEO in order to define the potential for job sharing roles.
The intern will also identify avenues of marketing the new position and identify potential candidates.
To empower people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage to overcome circumstances not of their choosing by providing assertive outreach services, mentoring and counselling that leads to improvements in personal safety, health, mental health, relationships, lifestyle choices, education, housing and employment.
