Role Title: Gender Diversity Service Research Intern 2
Organisation: Child and Adolescent Health Service
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: Nedlands
The intern will be working onsite at Perth Children's Hospital in the Gender Diversity Service (GDS). The GDS is a specialist tertiary multidisciplinary team supporting young people and their family, across WA who are trans or gender diverse.
For this project, the intern will work closely with our Senior Research Officers and be integrated as part of our multidisciplinary team.
The intern will assist with collection, entry, and management of confidential patient health
information related to Psychological, Physical and Metabolic health. They will have the opportunity to observe and contribute to other health-based projects within the service.
It is necessary that the intern has a respect for diversity, including gender diversity, and an interest in human rights. We also welcome anyone with lived experience.
The Child and Adolescent Health Service is part of the Department and has a vision, values and strategic objectives for 2018 - 2023 to achieve healthy kids and healthy communities for Western Australia.
