The City of Swan is implementing its privacy framework to comply with the newly enacted Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act 2024. The privacy framework is constituted by policies and procedures, privacy management plan, information asset registers, staff training and engagement.
The Privacy Intern will be working closely with the City of Swan's Privacy Officer to implement the privacy action plan and improve the City's maturity with respect to privacy and information sharing practices.
The Privacy Intern will work within the Legal team at the City of Swan.
The City of Swan is a local government area of Western Australia. It is in the eastern metropolitan region of Perth and includes the Swan Valley and 42 suburbs. It is centred approximately 20 km north-east of the Perth central business district.
