Role Title: Scoping Review Intern, TikTok in Health Communication

Role Description

This role will assist in a scoping review of published academic literature, to help understand the current role of TikTok in the dissemination of health information, and misinformation. This work will culminate in a checklist of the common elements of popular TikTok videos, that can be used to inform the creation and dissemination of evidence-based health communication. The intern will work primarily with a Scientific Writer based in the Healing Kids, Healing Families team. The intern may also have an opportunity to work on other research projects the Scientific Writer is undertaking, taking into account their areas of interest.
The TikTok project has investigators across multiple teams and research themes at the Institute, so interaction with this investigator group will be required during the project.
