Project Summary: Implementation of an Electronic Booking System
As a medical research institute operating in a clinical and healthcare setting, efficient resource management is critical. Our building requires a streamlined electronic booking system to manage room and facility reservations effectively. The current process lacks efficiency, leading to scheduling conflicts, administrative burdens, and reduced productivity.
Project Objectives
• Investigate suitable electronic booking systems tailored to our operational needs.
• Assess system features, integration capabilities, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop a detailed project and implementation plan for system adoption.
• Ensure the system enhances accessibility, efficiency, and compliance with clinical and research requirements.
Scope of Work
1. Research & Needs Assessment
o Identify current booking challenges and user requirements.
o Review existing booking solutions in similar clinical and healthcare environments.
2. System Evaluation & Selection
o Compare features such as real-time availability, user access controls, and reporting.
o Assess compatibility with existing IT infrastructure.
o Conduct stakeholder consultations for feedback.
3. Project & Implementation Plan
o Define project timeline, milestones, and resource allocation.
o Plan for staff training and system onboarding.
o Establish monitoring and evaluation metrics.
