Change Management Intern: Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Improvement Project

Role Title: Change Management Intern: Monitoring and Evaluation Framework Improvement Project

Organisation: St John of God Healthcare

Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)

Location: Perth

Role Description

We are seeking a Project Intern to work with the SJGHC Homelessness Services team, providing project support to the development of key components of a new Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (MEF) for our Horizon House Service. Horizon House is a multi-site residential support service for young people (16-22yrs) who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Our service supports young people for up to three years, with safe, stable accommodation and support, whilst instilling hope and fostering connection within their communities.
The Project Intern will work with the Project Manager to develop a change management plan to be incorporated into the MEF. How we work, what data we collect and what resources we develop will most certainly bring with it additional workload and new concepts for many of the Horizon House caregivers; and many changes of this nature are met with some resistance. To ensure a positive implementation we seek to plan steps to bring our workforce into and through this framework development and implementation. The Project Intern will be work with the Director of Homelessness and Support Services, Project Manager and the Horizon House Leadership team, using the SJGHC Change Management Guidelines. The position will be located within the larger WA Social Outreach team - data, finance, risk management, quality control, HR and administration roles.
