Role Title: Project Intern - Development of AI Tool

The Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is looking for an intern to help with the development of an AI tool that will help academic and professional staff improve their productivity in certain key areas of the portfolio. The project will involve working with the Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor of Learning and Teaching on taking the tool from inception through to development.
The candidate should ideally possess foundational knowledge in artificial intelligence and natural language processing (NLP). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is required, with experience using AI frameworks like TensorFlow or GPT-based APIs being highly valued. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. Familiarity with instructional design and user experience (UX) design will also be advantageous.
