Role Title: Human Resources Intern
Organisation: Department of Training & Workforce Development
Internship Period: Summer (November - December)
Location: Osborne Park
The intern will be within the Department's Human Resources Development team and will be involved in a research and evaluation project relating to workplace equality and respect.
The intern will be involved in implementing a key action in the Department’s Workforce Diversification and Inclusion Action Plan to utilise the Workplace Equality and Respect Standards to undertake an organisational self-assessment of existing workplace practices and identify key actions to ensure gender equality and respect in the workplace.
Developed by Our Watch, Workplace Equality and Respect is an evidence-based approach that guides organisations to embed gender equality in the workplace and prevent sexual harassment and other forms of gender-based violence including domestic and family violence. The Workplace Equality and Respect Standards align with the Respect@Work guidelines, placing organisations in a good position to meet their positive duty obligations.
