There will then be a premiere type celebration inviting those involved but also extend into the community and to others in our service.
The aim is to collect and celebrate the lives of our members as well as promote the evening to those close to them. In coordinating this program, the intern would aim to involve a mix of people such as local high school students, people living with disabilities, the local Mayor, providers of specialist services, neighbours etc. The aim is to generate a sense of connection amongst different groups, recognize and celebrate the individual members and all to come together in a celebration of our community but with our senior members as the stars.
