Role Description

Each year ACOSH host the Bob Elphick awards given to a person or organisation that has made an outstanding contribution to tobacco control in Western Australia or nationally. This is a big event for both ACOSH and the industry and is an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible work being done in the tobacco control space. Our event brings together people from the industry, this year in particular is hugely important due to all the incredible work done to get the Vaping Legislation over the line. We are looking for a hardworking, motivated and driven intern to help with all of the logistics of this event including overseeing a team of interns they will gather themselves, setting up the space, managing all the logistics, liaising with the venue and catering, ensuring the awards are delivered and helping organise any travel or accommodation for people visiting. They will work directly with our Communications Coordinator and our Director of Advocacy. As we are a small tight knit team this person will be a welcome addition.
