Role Title: Youth Program Intern, Youth Driving and Mental Health Program

Role Description

The intern will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of key community youth programs. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project management, event planning, and grant writing while supporting initiatives focused on youth mental health and driver education.
Key Responsibilities: Youth Mental Health Forum (Term 1, 2025) Assist in the comprehensive planning of the one-day Youth Mental Health Forum. Coordinate with guest speakers, including outreach, scheduling, and logistics. Organise interactive activities designed to promote suicide prevention and community resilience. Develop and distribute resources for attendees to ensure a meaningful and impactful experience. Support the event's promotion through various channels, including social media and community outreach. South West Regional Youth Driver Education Program (ongoing) Provide operational support for the ongoing Youth Driver Education Program. Assist in the development and submission of grant applications to the Department of Transport. Maintain program documentation and track progress against goals. Support the communication with participants, instructors, and stakeholders. Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of program effectiveness and sustainability.
