Role Title: Research Intern - Review to inform future design of the Fellowship Program

The Division of Science and Technology within the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) manages the Premier's Science Fellowship Program (Fellowship Program), which advances science of strategic importance to WA by attracting leading researchers to the State.
Over the lifetime of the Fellowship Program to date, the WA Government has committed $13 million investment to attract 14 world-class researchers to WA as Fellows.
The Division is commissioning an independent evaluation of the Fellowship Program by an external consultant, including to assess outcomes and impact, and provide recommendations for program improvements.
Your role will be to work with the Project Lead in support of this evaluation and the Division's consideration and design of a future revamped Fellowship Program, predominantly by undertaking a desktop review of other relevant fellowship programs in Australia and overseas. This will include the sourcing of data, data analysis and comparison analysis with the Fellowship Program, and preparation of a summary report with recommendations.
