Role Description

As the event intern you will work with the DLG Development Team and key internal and external stakeholders in the final weeks leading up to the delivery of the DLG Statewide Forum on 27 November 2024.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and organised intern to gain unique exposure to interagency collaborative work and apply their skills to support a small and diverse team to deliver a key event in the DLG calendar. Significant work has already been undertaken to deliver the event and your support will be highly valuable to support its successful delivery. You will primarily be interacting with the members of the DLG Development Team, the Department of Communities’ Corporate Communications team, as well as key subject matter experts across the Department of Communities, Department of the Premier and Cabinet, not-for-profit and community organisations, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. In the course of this placement, you will be exposed to a range of people across the sector from junior officers to senior executives.
