Role Title: Grants Intern
Organisation: Woodlupine Family Centre
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: Forrestfield
The Intern will play a pivotal role in researching and identifying various grant and funding opportunities that align with our organisation's goals and objectives. This individual will assist in developing well-crafted, strategic funding applications, ensuring that they demonstrate a clear and compelling case for value for money, and meet the requirements and expectations of potential funding organisations.
Key Responsibilities include:
Researching Funding Opportunities: The intern will be responsible for systematically identifying and analysing relevant grants, funding programs, and other financial resources that align with the organization’s mission and project goals. This includes keeping up to date with emerging funding opportunities, government initiatives, private sector contributions, and philanthropic offerings.
Supporting the Application Development Process: The intern will collaborate with the management and program teams to develop high-quality funding applications. This will involve gathering necessary data, drafting key sections of applications, and ensuring that the proposal effectively addresses the criteria and priorities of funding bodies, while demonstrating a clear and robust value for money proposition.
Reporting : A key aspect of this role will be preparing comprehensive reports that summarise identified funding opportunities, assess their feasibility, and recommend potential avenues for submission.
