Role Title: Research Intern - R&D Tax Incentives and research investment

Role Description

The Division of Science and Technology within the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI) manages the 10-Year Science and Technology Plan which aims to improve WA's science and technology capabilities.
One of the key aims is to understand what opportunities there are for the State Government to incentives more business investment in research and development. Different opportunities include programs that capitalise on the national R&D tax incentives and Future Made in Australia program. This role will involve scoping a project and doing early research on these opportunities which will inform the larger program of work.
