Role Title: Marketing, Content & Community Intern

Hensman Street Elementary is an independent micro school with a big vision: to provide education that truly sees and nurtures the whole child, and to inspire a broader shift toward holistic, community-rooted schooling. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to creating positive systems change in education.
As a small not-for-profit, our biggest challenge is ensuring our voice is heard. We’re now putting focused attention on marketing and communications to build awareness, strengthen community connections, and showcase our innovative approach.
Key contributions may include:
• Creating, curating, and scheduling engaging social media content that reflects our vision and values
• Supporting the implementation of marketing activities across digital, social, and community channels
• Assisting with the development of partnership initiatives and community engagement activities
• Tracking and reporting on campaign and engagement outcomes, with recommendations for future activities
• (Optional / as appropriate) Supporting public relations activities, such as drafting media releases or assisting with media outreach
This is not an administrative or purely academic role — we are seeking a creative, practical contributor who is confident producing and managing content to help amplify Hensman’s voice. The intern will report to Hensman Street’s leadership team, who will provide supervision and guidance throughout the placement.
