Role Title: Event Coordination Intern: Carols at Scarborough

Carols at Scarborough 2024 is an annual Christmas carols event, hosted by charity partner Neuromuscular WA and the Scarborough Beach Association, at the Scarborough Beach amphitheatre. This event has been held for hosted for the past 28 years and is a fabulous evening of festivity and community spirit. As the coordinator of this event, you will play crucial role in working directly alongside the CEO at Neuromuscular WA to coordinate and help facilitate this joyful, family-friendly holiday celebration that engages the local Scarborough community and raise funds to support Neuromuscular WA’s mission. Working with the team you will help coordinate meetings, provide event planning support, stakeholder engagement, volunteer recruitment, budget tracking and support in lead up to the even and if you wish, have a role to play as part of event delivery on 15 December 2024.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular conditions in WA and to be the first choice for support and services. We want to be known for supporting everyone impacted by a neuromuscular condition in WA, who needs us. We strive to raise awareness of neuromuscular conditions, their impact on those living with them and their families, and also to educate the general public on access and inclusion.
