Role Title: Communications and Digital Content - Science and Technology Plan

Role Description

The Department of Jobs Tourism, Science and Innovation has developed a 10-Year Science and Technology Plan that will guide the science and research priorities of the state for the coming decade. The Plan is due to launch in National Science Week 2024 (August). One of the key actions in the plan is to explore ways of increasing engagement with science and to celebrate the amazing science that happens in WA.
In this role, you'll craft a compelling communications proposal to celebrate the State’s scientific research and technology development. This will include planning a series of reels and/or podcasts. The plan will outline a series of episodes including proposed content. Pending approvals a the role will also involve creating a pilot. The ideal intern would be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, graphic design or a related field.
