Role Title: WADSA Marketing and Communication Assistant
Organisation: WA Disabled Sports Association (WADSA)
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: East Victoria Park
The Marketing and Communication Assistant will support the development and execution of marketing and communication strategies to promote WADSA’s programs, initiatives, and brand. This role involves assisting in the creation of engaging content for various platforms, managing social media accounts, coordinating promotional campaigns, and assisting with events and public relations efforts.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for enhancing WADSA’s visibility and community impact. They will work closely with the WADSA team members to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organisational goals. Responsibilities may include writing case studies, designing promotional materials, monitoring campaign performance, and maintaining a content calendar.
Skills in graphic design, social media, and content creation are highly desirable, along with an understanding of marketing tools and analytics.
Specific knowledge and research surrounding google ads is preferred.
Intern would also be attending various Inclusive programs to understand the cliental WADSA work with.
Through participation in Sport & Recreation, WADSA enhances the lives of People with a Disability in WA. This extends to Families, Staff, Volunteers, Support Workers and the Community. WADSA is the peak body for sport and recreation for peoples with a disability representing our member clubs and the broader community.
