Role Title: Project Intern - Specialist Child Protection unit

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)

The intern will be placed at the Department of Communities, Specialist Child Protection Unit, working alongside the Advocate for Children in Care.
The intern will develop a Business Case to support a previously drafted Options Paper for Viewpoint refurbishment. This includes scoping for a best practice framework to engagement with children in care; while engaging with children in care, Out-of-Home Care providers and wider Communities staff.
The Department collaborates to create pathways that enable individual, family and community wellbeing. What we do has far-reaching impacts across all aspects of society. Supporting wellbeing can mean many things including ensuring children are safe, helping people access a home, or creating diverse and inclusive communities.
