Swan Districts Football Club has transformed from a traditional narrow focused football club to a community enabler creating social impact. Our purpose is empowering communities and individuals to create better futures. Our vision is to be a high performing and sustainable club delivering positive social impact in communities, families, and for individuals. While football is in our DNA, it doesn't define us. It's a vehicle for us to develop people and engage and build a reciprocal sense of belonging between the club and community.
We have many powerful stories over the years where we've positively changed people's lives outside of football both in Perth and regional WA. The objective of this role is to identify the club’s emotionally powerful human interest stories and bring them to life through digital story telling, sharing and celebrating the success of those who don't have a platform. This impactful story telling will further enhance opportunities for individuals and communities who face barriers in life to build better futures, and will be incorporated into our future programs as key learning tools
