Role Title: Resource Development Intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic intern to review, update, and develop a series of resources and info sheets that assist peer support group leaders with the development and management of their groups. Interns will be required to review and refresh existing resources, identify opportunities for new resources that address group needs and challenges, and to assist with the design and promotion of resources. The intern will be required to conduct an audit of existing resources, to research and develop content, to assist with design where feasible, and to engage with group leaders to ensure resources are current, accessible, and relevant to their needs. The ideal candidate will be creative, with strong communication and written skills, and have an interest in topics relating to group governance, promotion, and delivery.
Since 1983, ConnectGroups has provided practical assistance to both new and established groups to support their effective management and role in the community. ConnectGroups promotes the philosophy and practice of peer support throughout Western Australia. Fostering empowerment among Support Groups allows people dealing with stressful life problems and situations to share their experiences and to offer emotional and practical support to one another.
