Role Description

The CONNECT Project Internship, forms part of the Community Engagement Team at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
The CONNECT Project Intern will assist the CONNECT Manager and Community Engagement Senior Manager in delivering a whole institute approach to community engagement excellence. The successful intern applicant will assist in supporting a personalised and systems based approach to community engagement that honours the many ways our community supports us to make our research great to achieve our vision of happy healthy kids. During the internship period, the successful intern will be involved in all aspects of CONNECT Community Engagement activities which will include: * Assist in developing a campaign for engagement in a community fitness event * Assisting in Community Engagement event planning, promotion, coordination, evaluation, and reporting. * Working with a range of research teams and leaders within the Institute to connect with community members to share research opportunities and actively support community involvement. * Actively engaging with all community members to encourage, support, and advocate for community voice, inclusion, and diversity in all we do. * Communicating with CONNECT members.
