Role Title: Media Communications Intern

Internship Period: Semester 2 (July – October)
Location: Perth
The Media Communications Intern will function within the METRONET corporate communications team and work closely with the Media Manager. This role will assist in the drafting of media responses, media statements, media event briefs and keep the organisation up-to-date with media coverage relating to the organisation. In a blend of media and communications, you would require communication skills that are adaptable to the situation, whether it be interacting with media to answering queries of public stakeholders.
DoT integrates and enhances coordination of the State’s transport operations, regulatory functions, and planning and policy development processes to deliver a diverse range of specialist transport services that benefit and support Western Australians.
