Role Title: Community Engagement: Intern 3 Education and Outreach program

The Education and Outreach Program Internship, forms part of the Community Engagement Team at The Kids Research Institute Australia.
The Intern will assist the Senior Outreach Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator in organising the regional and rural Festival of STEM programs.
The STEM Festival program celebrates all things science to students and community members in WA's Kimberely region. The festival aims to celebrate and highlight scientists from the local region as well as promote science as a potential career opportunity.
The successful intern applicant will assist in supporting a personalised and systems based
approach to community engagement that honours the many ways our community supports us to make our research great to achieve our vision of happy healthy kids.
During the internship period, the successful intern will be involved in all aspects of
Outreach Community Engagement activities which will include:
* Assisting in planning the Broome and Kalgoorlie STEM Festival including admin task associated with this.
Assist in any incursions or excursions with school groups including planning, setting up, the visit itself and clean up after.
* Assist in the Discovery Centre.
