Role Description

The primary goal of this project is to conduct a comprehensive desktop audit of Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) services available in Perth and Regional Western Australia (WA), excluding the Kimberley. The findings from this audit will inform the development of a user-friendly booklet that provides culturally relevant information about FDV supports available to Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES: 1. Identify and document existing FDV services, including crisis support, counselling, legal assistance, housing support, and community outreach programs, in Perth and regional areas of WA. 2. Assess the accessibility, relevance, and cultural appropriateness of these services for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal individuals and families. 3. Create a booklet that outlines the services in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse audiences.
