Role Description

As a WHS and Emergency Management Summer Intern, you will be an integral part of the Work, Health, and Safety Department, working closely with the Emergency Management Consultant. Your role will involve assisting in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures related to WHS and emergency management within an aged care setting. You will also participate in community engagement initiatives, help create training materials, and support various projects aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness and compliance with Australian Standards, including AS 3745. Throughout your internship, you will primarily interact with the WHS team, aged care staff, and residents, contributing to initiatives that have been recognised for excellence in safety and emergency management.
