Role Title: Corporate Governance Project Management Intern 2
Organisation: State Solicitor's Office
Internship Period: Semester 1 (February - May)
Location: Perth WA 6000
The State Solicitor's Office ('SSO') is responsible for the provision of broad based, high quality legal services to the Government of Western Australia and to a wide range of state government client departments and agencies.
In October 2021, the SSO became an independent sub-department of the Department of Justice in response to the 2018 Special Inquiry into Government Programs and Projects ('The Langoulant Report').
The transition of the SSO to an independent sub-department has brought about significant changes in its corporate governance and planning landscape. One of these changes is the endorsement of a new SSO Corporate Plan, which features a range of initiatives to be implemented over the next three years.
The intern(s) will work closely with the SSO's Corporate Governance team to work on these Corporate Plan initiatives.
