Role Title: Research Intern, Lessons Management

Lessons management involves the systematic collection, analysis, and dissemination of experiences from operations, exercises, programs, and reviews. The goal is to foster a culture of continuous improvement within emergency management, thereby enhancing community safety, resilience, and capability development. The intern will:
• Collect and analyse data from operations, exercises, programs, and reviews.
• Identify and document lessons learned, focusing on systems of work.
• Assist in disseminating lessons and best practices to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather diverse perspectives and insights.
• Support the development and implementation of tools and templates for lessons management.
• Contribute to maintaining a no-blame culture and fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lessons management within the community/emergency management sector, contributing to the safety and resilience of communities
